Description
iteration planning isn't as simple as it could be. it's hard to see total effort for the iteration as I add issues for example.
I'm not sure which approach would be the best, but I think horizontal split-screen view will help a lot. for example top view could be whole issues tree or release tree, and bottom view would be iteration tree.
I use top view to figure out which issues are most important and need to be addressed in the iteration I'm planning. as I mark them (in edit mode) for specific iteration (or drag them on the iteration in the bottom view), bottom view updates to reflect total iteration effort and which items there are in the iteration.
