5.4.3. State

All projects in AgileTrack have a "State". The "State" is a simple description of the status of the project and is intended to reflect the lifecycle of a project from start to finish if necessary. Therefore, a project generally has states that are intended to represent the progression of the project through its lifecycle. For example, a project could progress from "Prepare" to "Open" to "Complete" by manipulating its state in AgileTrack.

State also affects what projects are visible from the main Issues tab and assignment lists. A project is only available for assignment if it is in an "Open" state. Projects that are preparing or are completed will not be presented for assignment to issues. The projects list also color-codes projects based on status.
